This medication is used to prevent and control seizures and also to treat panic attacks. Klonopin Oral is known as an anticonvulsant drug and belongs to a class of medications called benzodiazepines. Before using this medication you need to talk with your doctor, to give you full and clear instructions how to use this medication. Usually this medication is used 2 or 3 times in 24h-period. Dosage is based on your age and medical condition, but if childrens using this medication then dosage is also based on their weight.
There is some side effects if using this medication like: confusion, memory problems, signs of depression, suicidal thoughts or attempts, thoughts about harming yourself – to avoid this side effects you need to start with lower dosage of this medication.
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of:
- liver disease
- mental or mood problems
- kidney disease
- regular use of drugs, alcohol or other substances
- a certain type of eye problem
- lung or breathing problems
